Live Band Status
Is 10 Meters Open Right Now?
During Solar Cycle 25, the 10 meter (28 MHz) band has become the rockstar of DX. Current Solar Flux (SFI) is 145, suggesting EXCELLENT potential for global openings.

What is 10m?
The 10 meter band spans 28.000 to 29.700 MHz. It is a high-frequency (HF) band that relies heavily on F2-layer ionization from the sun.
Why check SFI?
The Solar Flux Index (SFI) measures solar radio noise. For 10m to 'open' for long-distance DX, an SFI above 100 is typically required.
